Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Karakter di Era Society 5.0 dalam Dunia Pendidikan

This study aimed to analyze the strengthening of character values in the era of Society 5.0 within the field of education. The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the education system, requiring a balance between technological development and human values. This study employed a literature review method by examining relevant books, journal articles, and scientific publications. The findings indicate that strengthening character values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and social awareness remains essential in shaping students’ personalities in the digital era. The integration of character education into the learning process, supported by the use of technology, is effective when implemented in a systematic and contextual manner. However, several challenges were identified, including excessive use of technology, reduced social interaction, and limited supervision, which may negatively affect students’ character development. Therefore, teachers play a crucial role as facilitators and role models in guiding students to use technology wisely. In conclusion, strengthening character values in the Society 5.0 era should be carried out in an integrated manner through the use of technology, innovative learning strategies, and a supportive educational environment to produce a generation that is not only intellectually competent but also possesses strong character and social responsibility.
