These features can increase cultural awareness, especially among younger generations, and support the preservation of local traditions in the digital era. Despite these opportunities, local culture faces significant challenges due to the dominance of global popular culture. Local creators often struggle to compete with viral international content, overcome stereotypes, and maintain the authenticity of cultural representation while adapting to rapidly changing digital trends. There is also a risk of cultural simplification and commercialization in pursuit of online popularity.
